STARLADDER WORLD OF WARCRAFT ARENA EUROPE

Location: Kyiv

Role: Lead Motion Designer

In Fall 2016 Kyiv hosted the WoW Arena European Regional Championship, the decisive qualifier for the Arena World Championship at BlizzCon. For Blizzard this stage was vital: it determined which European teams would represent the region on the game’s biggest global stage. To amplify fan interest, the broadcast also offered the exclusive in game title “Warbringer” to viewers, making the event both a competitive milestone and an interactive spectacle.

The creative package included show opening, broadcast graphics, overlays and fantasy themed stage elements that reflected the epic tone of World of Warcraft. My responsibilities focused on motion design, coordination with external vendors and on site supervision. I ensured timely delivery of assets, aligned the look across partners, and managed live integration with responsive adjustments during matches, creating a polished broadcast that matched the importance of this BlizzCon gateway event.
