In 2023, WePlay Studios partnered with Mythic Talent and popular VTuber Filian to produce the first global VTuber Awards, a live broadcast staged entirely in a virtual environment. I directed the creative development for the production, overseeing key visuals, broadcast graphics, stage elements, cinematics and nominee content. With design and motion teams, I shaped moodboards, visual direction and live delivery.

The show highlighted the history of Tubing and its leading creators, combining advanced technical execution with a playful and engaging design language. This fully virtual live show set a professional standard for a young and fast growing culture while presenting VTubing to a worldwide audience. In May 2024, the project was honored at the Webby Awards as a People’s Voice Winner in the AI, Metaverse and Virtual category for General Virtual Experiences.
